Learn More →The minimum on a custom corset order is 20 pieces per fabric — but it can be split across any styles and sizes. Here is what the minimum actually applies to, why it exists, and when it rises to 30.

The single most misread number in custom corset manufacturing is the minimum. Buyers assume it means twenty of the same corset in the same size. It does not.
A custom order is a cutting run of one material. The economics come from laying up a single fabric and cutting many panels from it at once — which is why the minimum attaches to the fabric, not to any individual garment.
So this is one valid 20-piece order:
Three different styles, five different sizes, one fabric. That is the point.
Below roughly twenty pieces the fabric lay becomes wasteful — you are paying to spread and cut a full width of cloth for a handful of panels, and the per-piece cost rises sharply. Twenty is where a custom run prices sensibly against stock. It is a manufacturing threshold, not a commercial one.
If you supply your own pattern, the minimum rises to 30 pieces per fabric. A new pattern has to be digitised, graded across your size range and test-cut before the production lay, and that work is absorbed into the run rather than billed separately. Thirty pieces is what makes that viable.
Shipping is quoted separately and is not part of the piece count. Volume discounts are calculated on goods value, so a 20-piece order that happens to cross $400 earns the first discount band regardless of how the pieces are split.
The practical implication for a buyer: do not think in terms of "can I sell 20 of this corset". Think in terms of "can I sell 20 pieces in this fabric". A brocade that works across an overbust, an underbust and a dress reaches the minimum far more easily than any single silhouette would on its own.

What actually happens between submitting a custom order and the boxes leaving the factory — and why the 7–10 working day figure starts when you approve, not when you submit.

Custom orders earn a discount automatically as the order grows — 2% from $400, rising to 10% above $1,000. How the bands work, what they are calculated on, and how to plan an order around them.

If you already have a corset pattern that works, we can manufacture to it. What to send, what happens to it in the factory, and why the minimum is 30 rather than 20.
