How to Design Your Own Corset: A Wholesale Buyer’s Guide

Most wholesale corset buying works one way: you look at what a factory already makes, and you buy it in the colours they happen to have. Custom manufacturing reverses that. You choose the fabric, you choose the styles, you choose the size breakdown — and we make it.

What "custom" actually means here

It does not mean designing a corset from nothing. It means taking a pattern we have already engineered and proven in production, and having it made in a fabric and colour that no one else in your market is selling. The construction is known, so there is no sampling fee and no development risk. What changes is the material.

If you do want something made to your own pattern, that is supported too — see Using Your Own Corset Pattern.

The three steps

1. Choose your fabric or print

The fabric library holds 90+ active swatches across several families — brocade, digital printed taffeta, mesh, lace and patent leather — each with its own colourway. You pick one fabric per order line. Every fabric is filterable by family, so you can compare all the brocades side by side rather than scrolling a single flat list.

2. Choose your styles and sizes

Here is the part most buyers do not expect: your minimum does not have to be one style. The 20-piece minimum applies per fabric, and you can split it across as many styles and sizes as you like. Four pieces of one overbust in size 26, six of an underbust in 30, ten of a corset dress across three sizes — that is one valid order.

You can draw those styles from our existing collection, from your own best sellers, or from your PRIVATE RESERVE™ allocation if you hold one.

3. Receive and approve your quote

Nothing goes into production on submission. Our team reviews the request, prices each line, adds shipping, and sends you a quote. You approve it, and only then does the order exist. If the numbers are not right, tell us before you approve.

What it costs

Pricing is based on the base price of each style, adjusted for the fabric you have chosen. Volume discounts are earned automatically as the order grows — 2% from $400, rising to 10% above $1,000. The discount is calculated on the goods value before shipping, and it is shown to you live as you add sizes, so you always know how close you are to the next band.

Lead time

Production ships in 7–10 working days from approval. That is genuinely production time, not a queue estimate — custom orders are cut and made to your specification rather than picked from stock.

Who can order

Custom manufacturing is open to approved wholesale accounts only. If you are not registered, approval is usually within one working day.
